Sledding - Always a good time...

I took a break from our basement declutter project to take the kids sledding. I think I needed it as much as they did!

Eddie Joe is ALWAYS cool!

It's hard to tell here....but Eddie Joe was flying as he went by me!!!

He was probably flying because Rye Bread was giving him a "little" push!

Sledding always brings out the smiles

We just got snow today!!
Yesterday my friends and i went sledding on a dry grass hill!!
No joke!!
Didn't work too well!!!

Great pictures!!! We need to get the boys some sleds like those!!!

Looks like a lot of fun - but I think your boys need more snow for sledding. Bring them to MN where we have lots of hills and about 3 feet of snow!

11/8/09 - Orphan Sunday at our Church. God moves in our hearts to consider adoption.

11/22/09 - Lunch with Corrie at Dairy Queen in Minneapolis. A lot of "how does this all work?" questions.

12/12/09 - Coffee with the Reynolds at Panera. Many, many questions answered....."Oh, and one more thing."

1/20/10 - Contract mailed to AGCI.

2/9/10 - 1st homestudy visit (in Omaha with Nebraska Christian Services).

2/19/10 - 2nd homestudy visit (in Omaha).

2/25/10 - 3rd and final homestudy visit (at our home).

2/26/10 - Dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the Henns. What a great night after a rough week. They also convinced us that we were not too old to blog! The blog started the next morning.

4/8/10 - Homestudy completed.

4/12/10 - Homestudy and Dossier mailed to AGCI.

4/20/10 - On the waiting list with AGCI. #52 of all families waiting for a girl.

5/12/10 - #46 of all families waiting for a girl.

5/13/10 - Clarification on our waiting list status. We're #4 of all families waiting for a 2-3 yr old. #1 of all families waiting for a 4-5 yr old!

5/21/10 - FBI Fingerprinting for immigration purposes (in Omaha).
6/9/10 - USCIS I-171H Approval received.

7/13/10 - #38
8/8/10 - #32

10/7/10 - #24

11/7/10 - Orphan Sunday 2010

2/28/11 - Attended court in Addis....and passed!
3/14/11 - Case opened at the U.S. Embassy
3/24/11 - U.S. Embassy date
3/27/11 - HOME with our Peaches!!!!!
10/2/12 - Re-adoption Court Hearing Complete!
