Our Easter Afternoon.....

We were honored by being invited to the Beavers' house for Easter dinner. I had great thoughts of taking some pics to be able to blog about our Easter afternoon. But, I took very few pics - mainly because I was busy eating a lot of food and drinking a lot of coffee (both of which were amazing). One of the best parts of the meal was eating the wonderful kartoshka made by Daria. So while I was busy eating lots of kartoshka and ham, Mrs. Beaver was busy taking great pics and later putting together a great blog about the day. Read and enjoy our afternoon by clicking HERE. I am just like you at many get togethers...too busy eating and socializing to remember to take photos! Had to smile at your post.

11/8/09 - Orphan Sunday at our Church. God moves in our hearts to consider adoption.

11/22/09 - Lunch with Corrie at Dairy Queen in Minneapolis. A lot of "how does this all work?" questions.

12/12/09 - Coffee with the Reynolds at Panera. Many, many questions answered....."Oh, and one more thing."

1/20/10 - Contract mailed to AGCI.

4/12/10 - Homestudy and Dossier mailed to AGCI.

4/20/10 - On the waiting list with AGCI. #52 of all families waiting for a girl.

5/12/10 - #46 of all families waiting for a girl.

5/13/10 - Clarification on our waiting list status. We're #4 of all families waiting for a 2-3 yr old. #1 of all families waiting for a 4-5 yr old!

5/21/10 - FBI Fingerprinting for immigration purposes (in Omaha).
6/9/10 - USCIS I-171H Approval received.
