We just got home from a great night of watching the
Desperation Band in a live video feed from Colorado Springs, CO. They gave a concert as part of Orphan Sunday weekend.
They have amazing hearts both for God and for raising awareness for orphan care. We had about 30-40 people at church sitting in our sanctuary, watching the live video feed, worshiping with them. It was a great night.
The Desperation Band is helping to promote the ministry of Heartwork. One of Heartwork's goals is to see 1,000 youth groups engage in 1,000 acts of service over the next 1,000 days. They are calling it their 1K project. Take a look at their vision by clicking
